Circular throw, multiple decks and modular screen media — the workhorse for aggregate and ore classification.
YK / YZ Series Circular Vibrating Screen
The 3YK-3072 belongs to the Circular Vibrating Screen from New Shanbao and uses an inertial vibrator producing a circular (or near-circular) motion. The motor drives the eccentric weights through V-belts; the resulting centrifugal force makes the screen box vibrate, tossing material along the inclined deck, where it stratifies. Particles smaller than the aperture pass through as undersize; larger particles travel along the deck and discharge as oversize.
This model is supplied with motor; electrical control not included. It is widely used for aggregate classification, ore-dressing screening, coal grading and material classification in building-materials and chemical plants, and combines with jaw, cone, impact and VSI crushers in either open or closed crushing circuits.
Multiple decks let one machine separate three or four size fractions in a single pass, which is how an aggregate plant controls gradation and limits recirculating load. Screening efficiency directly drives plant utilisation, so generous deck area is money well spent.

The heart of a circular vibrating screen is the vibrator. The motor drives a shaft carrying eccentric weights through V-belts; the centrifugal force makes the screen box vibrate in a circular path. Feed entering at the feed end is repeatedly tossed and moved forward by the combination of vibration and gravity.
During each toss, fine particles work down through the bed, reach the deck and pass through as undersize; coarse particles stay on the deck and travel to the discharge end. Deck inclination, amplitude, frequency and the number of decks together determine efficiency and capacity.
Blinding usually comes from three things: high moisture, platy particles or the wrong media. Remedies include switching to polyurethane or rubber media, increasing amplitude, steepening the deck angle, fitting bouncing balls or an ultrasonic de-blinding system, and drying or de-sliming the feed before screening.
Woven wire typically lasts 1–3 months on limestone aggregate and only 2–6 weeks on abrasive granite; polyurethane lasts three to five times longer than wire but has a slightly lower open area. Judge the change point by coarse material reporting to undersize.
No. More decks mean smaller individual deck areas and harder stratification, so efficiency falls deck by deck, with heavy load upstairs and coarse leakage downstairs. Two or three decks are usually enough for aggregates; if four or more fractions are needed, two screens in series or parallel beat one four-deck unit.
