✓Design Features

  • Integrated single-cylinder hydraulics: setting, tramp release and chamber clearing share one cylinder — compact with few failure points.
  • Hydraulic closed-side-setting adjustment can be made on the fly or under load — switching product size is a one-button operation.
  • Automatic tramp-iron protection and reset: after the uncrushable object passes, the machine returns to its previous setting without manual intervention.
  • Choke-fed inter-particle chamber — material crushes against itself for low energy per tonne and even liner wear.
  • Positive-pressure dust sealing with oil lubrication keeps dust out of the lubrication circuit and extends bearing life.
  • Optional PLC control cabinet integrates with plant-wide control for remote monitoring and diagnostics.

◎Applications

  • Large granite and basalt aggregate plants, secondary and tertiary
  • Iron, copper and gold ore dressing, secondary and tertiary
  • Fine crushing and shaping ahead of manufactured-sand lines
  • Limestone and slag crushing in cement plants
  • Artificial sand and gravel systems for large hydropower projects
  • High-grade highway and high-speed rail ballast
  • Comprehensive utilisation of metal-mine tailings
  • Continuous plants needing high availability and few operators

Working Principle

The chamber is again formed by a concave and a mantle, with the mantle gyrating on an eccentric sleeve. The difference is that the mantle is supported on the piston of a hydraulic cylinder: changing the oil volume in the cylinder raises or lowers the mantle as a whole, which changes the closed-side setting.

If uncrushable material enters, hydraulic pressure is momentarily exceeded, the mantle drops and opens a passage for the object to pass, after which the system resets automatically. To clear the chamber, the cylinder lifts the mantle and discharges everything inside, avoiding the safety risk of manual clearing.

FAQ

Can it clear the chamber automatically?

Yes. The hydraulic pump lifts the mantle, the chamber opens and the material inside discharges under gravity. The whole sequence runs from the control cabinet — the operator just presses a button, unlike a spring cone where the chamber may need manual attention.

How do I maintain the hydraulic system?

Watch three things: oil level and condition, oil temperature and system pressure. Check oil cleanliness every 2,000 hours and change filters on the manufacturer's interval. Persistently high oil temperature usually means a fouled cooler or high ambient temperature — clean the cooler or increase cooling capacity.

What is the real difference between single- and multi-cylinder cones?

A single-cylinder design uses one cylinder for setting, protection and clearing — simpler, with fewer maintenance points, and adequate for most medium-to-large aggregate lines. A multi-cylinder design spreads several cylinders around the frame, giving greater crushing and clamping force and a more stable setting — better for very hard rock and very large concentrators. Choose on hardness, scale and budget.
