Grizzly pre-screening, stepless electromagnetic control and even continuous feed — the stabiliser at the head of a crushing line.
ZSW Bar Vibrating Feeder & GZG Electromagnetic Feeder
The GZG-2003 belongs to the Vibrating Feeder from New Shanbao and is installed ahead of the crusher. It feeds material from the hopper into the crushing chamber continuously and evenly, while pre-screening it: fines below the cut size are removed before the crusher, reducing crusher load and raising plant throughput.
This model is supplied with motor; electrical control not included, with a motor power of TBC. The ZSW series is a bar-type vibrating feeder whose trough carries two sections of grizzly bars for coarse screening during feeding. The GZG series is an electromagnetic feeder, using an electromagnetic vibrator for stepless speed control and instantaneous start-stop — well suited where feed accuracy matters.
A feeder looks like a supporting item but it is the key to plant stability. Matching feeder capacity to crusher throughput, aligning the feed direction with the chamber centre and matching bar spacing to the feed size are the three things that decide whether downstream equipment can run at full load for the long term.

A vibrating feeder uses vibration motors or an electromagnetic vibrator to generate a periodic exciting force that drives the trough back and forth in a set direction. Material in the trough is alternately tossed and moved forward by vibration and gravity, producing a continuous, even stream.
When grizzly bars are fitted, fine particles below the bar spacing fall through during transport instead of entering the crusher, avoiding unnecessary crushing and wasted energy. Bar spacing is set from the crusher setting and material characteristics, typically 0.8–1.0× the closed-side setting.
A grizzly feeder (ZSW) has two sections of parallel bars at the discharge end forming a grid. Fines fall through into a chute during transport and bypass the crusher entirely, cutting crusher load by 20–30% and avoiding unnecessary work. A standard feeder only conveys and has no pre-screening function — it suits feed that is already fairly uniform in size.
Wear concentrates at the impact point and the discharge end, usually because of a large drop height, an undersized feeder or highly abrasive material. Fixes include fitting replaceable wear liners, adding a buffer grid or dead-bed at the impact point, upsizing the feeder by one step to lower relative velocity, and repositioning the hopper outlet so material does not strike directly.
Yes. The GZG series adjusts feed rate by controlling the thyristor firing angle or through a VFD, giving fast response and stepless control. Combined with load cells and a PLC it forms an automatic batching system with typical accuracy of ±1% to ±2%, widely used in cement, chemical and ore-dressing proportioning.
